This is an amazingly touching story of 9 year old boy named Caine who built his own arcade out of used cardboard boxes in his dad's auto parts store. After months of having no customers, the power of the internet brought hundreds of people from across LA to his homemade arcade. This past weekend Nicole and I were able to leave the kids with our family and get away for a day. We took the opportunity to go hot air ballooning. It was awesome. We got a good long ride and then crashed, er, landed in the backyard of some very nice people.

I've been relatively poor at updating my personal website for quite some time. Mainly, this was because I had grown very annoyed at the poor performance of Posterous. So I went hunting for a new blog host. I didn't want to have to fight with a custom GUI for editing and customizing my posts/pages. And I didn't want to be locked into their paradigm of what a website should be or look like. I'm a geek and I like coding and hacking, I just don't like site administration. Then I looked deeper at Github Pages and discovered it fit my needs perfectly.
