This month Eli has grown by leaps and bounds. He eats voraciously now and even though we feed him 2-3 times a night, he usually is a good baby and goes right back to sleep. Although recently he’s been staying up between 1 and 3am which is pretty exhausting for us parents. But he’s moved from the bassinet into his own crib and he even has a cool new toy: a motorized swing with music. He’s not quite smiling at us yet but we can tell he’s almost there. The cats also seem to have adjusted to his presence and they often try to take advantage of all his new stuff when they think we’re not looking.

Brett from work shows us this during lunch the other day and I laughed so hard I almost cried. It did seem funnier when viewed on an iPhone at Panera, but it’s still pretty damn funny here:

I always knew those rowers on the Potomac would one day get their comeuppance.

Eli would totally grab a green beer with you except he’s massively under-age.
